Corinex Intelligent PowerNet Features
Advanced technology
Built-in multi-carrier modulation scheme provides the
necessary bandwidth for multimedia applications.
A prioritized random access method exists with
strict adherence to priority. Segment bursting on the
powerline minimizes the demands on the receiver resources
and maximizes the throughput of the network while still
providing excellent latency response and jitter
performance. Contention-free access capability extends
this concept of segment bursting to allow the
transmission of multiple frames over the powerline
without relinquishing the control of the medium.
Utilizing contention-free access, a single station may
act as a controller for the entire network.
What Can Corinex Intelligent PowerNet Provide?
-Enables users to connect
individual PC's into a local area network through a 110V
/ 220V electric powerline
-PC file and application sharing

Complete home privacy
What's your privacy worth? If you use a connection
that's "always-on", like ISDN or a cable modem,
your
privacy is at risk. With an Internet sharing and
firewall software you can completely protect your
network against outsiders. Corinex Intelligent
PowerNet uses 56-bit DES Link Encryption with key
management for secured powerline communications
applications.
No more lines!
Why have more than one computer if only one
person can use the Internet? Internet sharing lets
every PC use the Internet, when ever you want to.
